| John Erceg, Founder & Managing Director, EnGrande |
 John Erceg is the founder and Managing Director of EnGrande S.L.
John set up EnGrande after leaving a management position at Hewlett Packard. He entered the accommodation sector by buying and renovating his own properties before moving into the role of online intermediary. He created the "30€ per night" concept, and focused EnGrande on recruiting independent, family-run, unique and affordable places to stay. EnGrande currently works with over 1200 establishments.
John’s experience prior to EnGrande includes various Marketing and Finance roles in Hewlett Packard. In 2000 John was the Worldwide Market Development Manager for Hewlett Packard large format printers, based in Barcelona, Spain. Previously he held positions in distribution channel management for Hewlett Packard in Latin America, and in new product development for Graphics based large format inkjet printing.
John has a B.B.A (1991) from the University of Houston, and an MBA (1996) from IESE Business School in Barcelona, Spain. John is married with 3 kids. He is originally from Fremont, California. He has lived in Barcelona for the past 12 years. He is a big Basketball fan and regular supporter of Barça basketball. |

| Paul Lupson, Technical Director & Web Operations Manager |
 Paul Lupson holds the position of Technical Director & Web Operations Manager of EnGrande S.L. managing the team of IT experts that oversee the design, development and evolution of all the EnGrande websites.
Paul worked in close conjunction with John Erceg, the managing director, on many projects prior to joining EnGrande in January 2005 and brings to EnGrande over 12 years of top level internet site design & development experience.
Before British born Paul left the UK, he worked at the BBC's head-quarters in West London. Paul's love of technology, design and innovation led him to a job on BBC 1 Television's flagship science programme 'Tomorrow's World'.
Paul started building websites as a hobby during the 'Tomorrow's World' era. After a chance encounter with a senior manager of the BBC Multi-Media Centre, his internet design skills came to the attention of that department, Paul was swiftly poached and joined the emerging team that became 'BBC Online'
Paul inherited his love of the meditteranean and sun from his Maltese grandmother, leading him to leave the UK in the year 2000, destined for Barcelona, a city he discovered and fell in love with when visiting to watch the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix, his favourite sport.
Paul has an M.A. in Industrial Design and has a passion for minimalist contemporary furniture design, he design's his own furniture, see www.Lupson.com, and has exhibited in Londons 'Designer's Block' show. You can find a coffee table designed by Paul on sale in the upmarket furniture shop Purves&Purves, London.
Paul lives with Argentinian wife Silvina in the centre of Barcelona. |

| Fernando Constantino, Internet Marketing Manager |
In his role as Internet Marketing Manager, Fernando Constantino has responsibility for a wide range of marketing activities designed to drive traffic and sales to all of EnGrande websites. These include managing Search Engine Marketing campaigns, creating affiliate programs, developing customer acquisition & loyalty programs as well as tracking and analyzing online advertising efforts.
Prior to joining EnGrande, Fernando spent four years at Stagnito Communications (Ascend Media Co.) in Chicago, as Special Projects Manager and various other positions. His experience in the online world began years ago with the creation of the website www.CulturaGeneral.net.
He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Business Administration from the University of Sevilla and an MBA from Northeastern University in Chicago, Illinois, as well as a CIS certificate from Harper College in Palatine, Illinois.
An avid traveller with stamps from over 30 countries on his passport, Fernando’s passions also include tennis, rollerblading and playing chess. |

| Nermine Naguib, New Product Creation Manager |
Nermine Naguib works in EnGrande in the position of New Product Creation Manager. Her responsibilities involve managing the team of in-house administrators and commercial staff who deal with the contracting and upload of the new establishments constantly entering the EnGrande websites. Her taste for challenge and multi-cultural environments has allowed her to integrate into the team rapidly and to bring a new dimension to an already dynamic team.
Prior to EnGrande, Nermine has held various HR and PR positions in prestigious companies such as Chopard and Philip Morris International. In June 2005, Nermine relocated to Spain with the objective to give a new turn to her life and career. She first joined the HR department at Affiliate Computer Services, and then held various teaching positions as a TEFL certified teacher.
Nermine, who is of Egyptian origin and grew up in Switzerland, has a diploma in management, communication and PR obtained in Geneva (Switzerland). Her diverse life and development path have made her an accomplished linguist; she has a solid knowledge of Arabic and German, and is perfectly fluent in English, Spanish, and French.

| Luis Miguel Moreno, Customer and Hotel Support Manager |
As Customer and Hotel Support Manager, Miguel has a very important role within the company. With his team, he has the task of offering permanent support to EnGrande customers as well as hoteliers, getting constant feed back which helps us build an excellent relationship with both customers and hoteliers alike, constantly evolving and improving our service.
Miguel has been a participant of EnGrande's achievements as he started working with the company in 2004 as a sales representative in Madrid, being one of the first cities where we started offering the "30 per night" concept. After a successful stay there, he was later transferred to Seville where he did the same commercial work.
Miguel, a Colombian, moved to Spain in 2004 after living in the UK for a year where he studied English. He has a bachelor degree in business administration from the University of Antonio Nariño in Colombia.
Prior to joining EnGrande, he spent 6 years in the coffee industry, working for Café Qindío, holding management positions in the area of production and international business. |

| Magali Cos, Translation Manager |
Born in Barcelona, Magali Cos Carreras has always loved languages and she is responsible for all the translations in EnGrande, as our websites are published in 5 languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian and German. She manages a team of 15 translators and she is also in charge of the descriptions of the establishments, as well as other kinds of web contents.
Her relationship with foreign languages began when her mother insisted on enrolling her in a French speaking school on the outskirts of Barcelona. Since then, foreign languages have been part her life. Before forming part of the EnGrande team, she worked in the import-export department of several chemical companies, dealing with countries all over the world. After some years, she became a freelance translator and interpreter of English, French, Spanish and Catalan. Actually one of her best clients was EnGrande, and finally she was hired to join the company in the year 2006.
Magali holds a degree in International Trade (Lycée Français, Barcelona, 1993), has a Masters in Marketing and Management (Lycée Français, Barcelona, 1994) and is a graduate of Translation and Interpretation of French and Russian (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, 2004). She loves travelling, good cooking, music and literature. At the moment she is taking flamenco dance lessons, but she’s beginning to think she should stick to translating!
